Tiff and Ash, this is for you!
This is my official Christmas and Valentines Day sweater. This shirt has been my road dawg through three Christmas parties, in '02 (the DealTime party at Iggy's house), '03, and '04 and as far as I can remember it held me down for my '03 and '04 Valentines Day. Come to think of it, maybe this sweater was holding me back. It sure didn't get me any extra love on those V-Days and I can't recall any presents at those Christmas parties. Hmm, well the no gift thing may be for other reasons.
I am formally announcing my No Gifts for Grown Folks policy. For those of you that have had the pleasure of listening to my diatribe on gifting, this is nothing new. I say if you want something, then just get the darn thing. Don't put it on a list for someone else to get it. Waiting for the things you want sucks. And I take this policy seriously, ask my brother Matthew and he'll tell you about how I returned his Boondocks
gift. But my new policy has a hook. See, instead of giving gifts do something with that person. Spend time together an enjoy the company of one another. There too much gifting and not enough quality time.And now we return to our regularly scheduled program, sweater 4. My only complaint with this sweater is that there is no elasticity in the sleeve cuffs. And no I did not do that, it was always that way. It makes it look like the whole sweater is hanging off of me. But wouldn't you like to see this sweater at your next holiday party? I'll walk in and you're be like OH ISH!!! that's the sweater.
