Shirt #18 - The Sherbet Shirt

Manufacturer: Enyce Clothing Company, Brand of Distinction
Brand: Enyce
Shirt Name: 2 Cool 2 Be Plaid
Year Purchased: 2005

First and foremost, I must thank my good friend Jin Ho for naming this the Sherbet Shirt.  I bought this shirt to wear with my Rod Laver Adidas, and not those crappy leather ones.  The original mesh Rod Lavers not those new fangled leather ones.

Man, I wonder what Jin is up to.  By the way, thanks for those court side tickets to the Warriors game back in the day.  Too bad Jesus Shuttlesworth gave your Warriors the business.

So really, this is just a cool @$$ shirt.  The arms are slightly short, but the fit overall is good.  I love this shirt in the summer, but with the long sleeves I can wear it year round.  And with the dreary Seattle winters, this shirt might be the only brightness Seattle gets from September until the start of April. And that's a fact Jack...Ohhh!

So, what do you think?

Shirt #17 - You got a lot of Girbaud Jeans Ha

Manufacturer: Marithé François Girbaud
Brand: Girbaud Jeans
Shirt Name: The 4 Block Navy Tee
Year Purchased: 2002

Damn this is an old shirt. Unfortunately it's not old enough. Girbaud Jeans were the isht to have back when I was in high school (1991 - 1995). These jeans defined the baggy look but they were too rich for my pockets. The baggy thing has gotten way out of hand now-a-days, but back when I was coming up Girbaud's were baggy and neat. Now kids buy clothes that are 10 sizes too big and can't run in them, a little nutzo. But don't get it twisted, I am not advocating the baggy jeans cause that mess is worse. BLAH.

When I was in high school the thing to wear were baggy Girbaud Jeans (some even had a pocket on the leg to stash your beeper...ooh I wanted one of those so bad too). But yeah, you had to have baggy Girbaud Jeans and a Cross Colours shirt. I had a Cross Colours shirt, the ugliest one ever made, but was missing the must have jeans so I had to act out a bit to be cool. So when I bought this sirt in 2002 it was about 8 years past it being cool to wear Girbaud's in NYC but I had to have something that had the name. Call it the fulfillment of a childhood dream.

Don't mind that the shirt fits a little snug. Just know that when I put the bad boy on, I feel like the cool kid in 10th grade.

Shirt #16 - I'm the cream of the crop, I rise to the top

Manufacturer: Sean John
Brand: Sean John
Shirt Name: SJ CREME DE LA CREME Tee
Year Purchased: 2009

So I've been away for a while...my bad folk. Well I'm back... actually I'm in Grand Forks, North Dakota Wut Wut!!! Since I could not find the big party out here I figured I would post another shirt. This shirt was specifically selected for those of you that may have forgotten, my shirt selection is #1, the creme de la creme. And doesn't that maroon make me look so fly!

So there's no great story behind me buying this shirt, but I am mad that I found someone else selling my shirt for $13.88 when I think I paid $35.00 for this shirt. This cat is diluting the value of my shirt investment. Well I guess he is only selling an XL and let's just say mine is bigger than XL. Maybe the price per foot of fabric works out to be the same. OK, now I'm calm, feel free to sell your baby tee for whatever you want!

As for me and my shirt, the fit is good the color is nice and it has a good message. Mike is the Greatest. You couldn't possibly separate me from this near one of a kind shirt.
